• Kilim rugs are traditional, handwoven rugs that are flat-woven, meaning they do not have a pile or body, that is why they are known as flat. This makes them an attractive option if you are looking for something relatively slimline, lightweight and simple, but that still offers that handmade, authentic connection with the origins of rug-making.
• Our Zaida Kilim rug has a unique design. With its central colour being a stunning, slate blue, the Zaida Kilim rug features a central diamond motif with a complimentary repeat pattern border in beautiful tones of ivory and natural jute which really complement the blue.

• Care instructions:
• Flat weave rugs don't have a pile so dirt can be more visible, so we recommend vacuuming both sides of the rug regularly.
• When vacuuming, always use the lowest power setting or "gentle" setting on your vacuum to prevent damage to the delicate fibres; avoid using a beater bar and instead opt for a soft brush attachment if available.
• Use a clean, dry cloth to blot spills immediately. Don't rub or use detergent.
• We recommend purchasing a rug pad to help prevent the rug from slipping and flattening.
• Rotate the rug regularly to prevent uneven fading and wear.
  
• Keep the rug dry to prevent mould and odour.
